And why do the artists have to create new pieces just for this event? Don't get me wrong, I love supporting local makers and all, but what about their regular work? Are they just going to put everything on hold for a few days in November?
"Fit to Be Tied" sounds like so much fun, I've always wanted to learn how to tie a perfect scarf knot. And sustainable fashion is literally my spirit animal. But, like, can we please have more of those kinds of events? You know, ones that promote creativity and sustainability without being tied to some big event or thing?

. And just when we thought the cost of living was already too high, I saw an article saying rent prices are increasing again 
. Meanwhile, all this good news about the Contemporary Craft Show in Philly... artists making money from their own work? That's nice, but what about us who can't afford art
