Curiosity Blog, Sols 4695-4701: Searching for Answers at Monte Grande

Ugh, I'm so tired of these updates being crammed into tiny threads 😒... can't they just have a dedicated news section or something?

So, yeah, Mars rover Curiosity is still drilling away 🚀. Like, who even cares about holes on Mars? It's not like it's gonna change our lives back here on Earth. And all the scientists are super stoked about it 🤔... I guess that's cool for them.

The thing that's really got me puzzled though is why they need so many instruments to study the same rock samples 🤷‍♀️. It's like, can't we just get some decent analysis out of one experiment? All this back-and-forth between SAM and ChemMin and... *sigh*... I don't know, maybe I'm just bored 😴.

Anyway, apparently they're searching for a new drilling location to compare with the ones from Monte Grande hollow 📍. Who knows, maybe it'll be interesting to watch them dig into more Martian rocks... not that I have anything better to do 😊.

I'm loving how NASA is getting all up in those Martian rock formations 🤖🔨 44 holes and counting, that's some serious scientific detective work! The boxwork unit thing sounds like a real mystery to me, I hope they get some answers soon 🤔

What I find kinda cool is that the rover is also collecting its own samples, like a mini-sci lab on wheels 🚀. Those granular drill tailings are gonna be super useful for comparing with other rocks and figuring out how this whole thing went down.

The next drilling site sounds like it's gonna be lit 🔥 can't wait to see what the team discovers!

omg can u believe they're already doing 44 holes!!! 🤯 it's like they're trying to figure out every single secret of mars lol what's next gonna be a whole new level of research or is it just another step towards finding proof of life?? 🚀 i'm thinking there must be some kinda hidden pattern in the "boxwork unit" that's still unknown to us rn 🤔
