Volunteers Sought for Feeding San Diego's Annual Event

. i mean, who needs all that extra food anyway? it's not like san diego is still recovering from those devastating wildfires 2 years ago... 
. and now they're worried about food waste? seems like just another excuse for the city to spend more money on "initiatives"

I'm telling you, something fishy is going on here... think about it, they're only asking for 150 extra volunteers at the last minute, but last year they had over 12,500 regulars? . i mean think about it, all that food just getting wasted and then we're still struggling with food insecurity... its like we need to step up our game!
