Microsoft's Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) has taken another step into the world of handheld gaming. A new preview for the MSI Claw, a Windows PC gaming handheld, is now available to install.
The Xbox FSE adds a console-like navigation experience to Windows PC gaming devices. Microsoft first introduced FSE on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X earlier this month, but users encountered some issues with these handholds. As part of its latest Insider Preview Build, Microsoft has rolled out support for the Xbox FSE in preview to "MSI Claw models" today.
Those looking to try out the Xbox FSE on their MSI Claw may want to wait until some problems are ironed out and it's available outside of the Windows Insider program. To enable FSE, users can go to Settings > Gaming > Full screen experience, then select Xbox as their home app. Once enabled, FSE can be accessed from Task View and Game Bar or configured to enter full-screen mode on startup.
Microsoft has also announced that "additional OEMs" will be enabling their handhelds to use the Xbox FSE "in the coming months". Lenovo's Legion Go 2 is set to receive it next year.
