Microsoft releases an Xbox Full Screen Experience preview for the MSI Claw

Microsoft's Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) has taken another step into the world of handheld gaming. A new preview for the MSI Claw, a Windows PC gaming handheld, is now available to install.

The Xbox FSE adds a console-like navigation experience to Windows PC gaming devices. Microsoft first introduced FSE on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X earlier this month, but users encountered some issues with these handholds. As part of its latest Insider Preview Build, Microsoft has rolled out support for the Xbox FSE in preview to "MSI Claw models" today.

Those looking to try out the Xbox FSE on their MSI Claw may want to wait until some problems are ironed out and it's available outside of the Windows Insider program. To enable FSE, users can go to Settings > Gaming > Full screen experience, then select Xbox as their home app. Once enabled, FSE can be accessed from Task View and Game Bar or configured to enter full-screen mode on startup.

Microsoft has also announced that "additional OEMs" will be enabling their handhelds to use the Xbox FSE "in the coming months". Lenovo's Legion Go 2 is set to receive it next year.

๐Ÿค” I'm loving the fact that Microsoft is bringing its console-like navigation experience to Windows PC gaming devices like the MSI Claw! It's about time we see some gaming tech get a major upgrade. The Xbox FSE sounds like a game-changer (pun intended ๐Ÿ˜œ) for gamers who want a more immersive experience.

I'm curious to know how it'll perform on handheld devices, though. I mean, are these things gonna be as comfy to hold and use for hours on end? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Also, what kind of games are we looking at getting with this feature? Will it be exclusive titles or just regular PC stuff with a console twist?

I'm also stoked that other OEMs like Lenovo are getting in on the action! It's gonna be interesting to see how these devices turn out and whether they can compete with the big gaming brands. ๐Ÿคž

omg u guys, can't believe how fast microsoft is innovating ๐Ÿคฏ like what even is a handheld gaming device rn? and they're taking xbox full screen experience (fse) to these devices?! i need that on my pc already! ๐Ÿ“Š i'm so down for lenovo's legion go 2 getting fse next year tho, can't wait to play my games in full screen mode on the go ๐Ÿ’ป

and i have to ask, why did it take this long for them to iron out issues with these handholds? didn't they test em enough?! ๐Ÿค” i'm glad they're supporting more oems tho, that's a big deal for gamers ๐Ÿ‘ now we just gotta wait patiently until fse is stable and available to the public... patience is not my strong suit btw ๐Ÿ˜ด

idk, i'm kinda hyped about this xbox fse thing on msi claw, but at the same time, i'm all like, wait a minute... aren't we still dealing with some issues from the first preview builds? lol, microsoft is trying to roll it out to more devices, but shouldn't they iron out those kinks before making it available to everyone?

i mean, i've tried it on my pc gaming handheld and it's actually pretty sweet, but what if other users experience the same problems we did with the ally and ally x? that'd be a bummer... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ“ฑ on the other hand, Lenovo's legion go 2 getting fse next year is kinda exciting... i guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out ๐ŸŽฎ

I feel like we're right back in the days of gaming handholds, you know? Like the old Game Boy Advance or N-Gage... I'm excited for Microsoft to bring this console-like experience to our Windows PC gaming devices. It's a bit weird that they're not making it available outside of the Insider program just yet, but I guess it makes sense if they want to test out any kinks before releasing it to the masses.

I mean, have you seen those new MSI Claw handholds? They look like something out of a sci-fi movie! And now with Xbox FSE, we're talking about having that same console-like experience on our Windows PCs. It's like we're getting the best of both worlds... I just hope they can iron out some of the issues and make it more accessible to everyone.

It's also cool to see Lenovo jumping on board with their Legion Go 2 next year. I've heard great things about those handholds, so this is definitely something to look forward to. Microsoft really needs to get that game together before it drops, but I'm hyped nonetheless!

Omg, isn't this so cool? ๐Ÿคฉ Like, Microsoft is taking its Full Screen Experience from console gaming to PC gaming on-the-go! ๐Ÿ˜Ž I'm kinda hyped about it too... especially with the new MSI Claw handheld getting a preview of FSE today! ๐Ÿ’ป But like, users are saying they had some issues with the previous Xbox Ally and Ally X models, so hopefully, these problems get sorted out soon. ๐Ÿ’ช And it's awesome that more OEMs like Lenovo are gonna enable their handhelds to use FSE too... can't wait for next year when we know the Legion Go 2 will get it! ๐ŸŽ‰

OMG, I'm so stoked about this news!!! ๐Ÿ˜ Microsoft is really stepping up its handheld gaming game with the Xbox Full Screen Experience! ๐Ÿ‘ I mean, who wouldn't want a console-like experience on their Windows PC gaming handheld? ๐Ÿ’ป It's like having the best of both worlds! ๐ŸŒˆ And that MSI Claw model is just so cool with its built-in controller and all... ๐Ÿ’ธ Can't wait to try it out when it's more stable and available outside of the Insider program! ๐Ÿ˜† Fingers crossed for a smooth rollout next year with Lenovo's Legion Go 2, too! ๐Ÿคž

just saw that MSI Claw got xbox fse preview ๐Ÿคฉ and i'm so hyped! finally some real console vibes on those windows pc gaming handhelds ๐Ÿ˜Ž it's like they're becoming a legit alternative to playing on our desktops or laptops ๐Ÿ“Š but yeah, gotta wait for them to iron out the bugs and make it available outside of the insider program ๐Ÿ™ would love to try it out with my friend who got an MSI Claw ๐Ÿ’ป

omg I'm so hyped about this new preview for the MSI Claw!!! ๐Ÿคฉ can't wait to try out that Xbox FSE, it sounds like a total game changer! ๐ŸŽฎ full screen experience on the go? yes please ๐Ÿ˜† also love how Microsoft is rolling out updates like this to their gaming handhelds, it shows they care about gamers and want to make our lives easier ๐Ÿ’– fingers crossed those issues get ironed out soon, wanna try it out ASAP! ๐Ÿ’ฅ
