More than 60 Henri Matisse artworks donated to Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris

🤩 I mean, can you even imagine having that many original Matisse pieces in one place? Like, the Musée d'Art Moderne is basically stepping up their game now! 🚀 It's amazing that Barbara Dauphin Duthuit decided to share her family's treasures with the world. I guess it's only fitting, considering how much Matisse and Marguerite meant to each other... 💕 The history behind these artworks is just incredible - from diphtheria to war efforts, and now they're getting the recognition they deserve. 🙌 The new additions bring the total number of pieces to over 80? That's like, art heaven right there! 😍

idk why anyone would think this is a good idea... i mean, sure the musée d'art moderne needs more matisse but it feels like just another way for rich ppl to get their art out of the family and make some cash off it 🤑 plus whats wrong with keeping these things in the family for a bit longer? they're already so rare and valuable... its not like barbara duthuit is getting paid off or anything, she's literally giving up her fam's history just cuz.

**🤯 61 masterpieces just flooded the art world! 🌊** Did you know that Matisse created over 500 artworks during his lifetime? 🎨 Like, can you even imagine what an impact this donation will have on the museum's collection? 💥 The artwork Marguerite is featured in these pieces... what a fascinating story behind each one! 📚 With over 80 Matisse masterpieces now at the Musée d'Art Moderne, that's like giving us nearly 10% more of his life's work than we already had 😲. By the way, did you know Matisse was only 12 when he started studying art? 🤓 Time sure flies! Anyway... what do you think about this donation? Should there be more artists donating their family heirlooms to museums like this? 🤑 The stats are in:

🚀 60+ artworks donated by Barbara Duthuit
🎨 Total Matisse works now at the Musée d'Art Moderne: 80+
💸 Value of the donation estimated to be over $100 million 💸
