they're literally shutting down polling stations in the first phase of their election and everyone's calling it a sham... like who needs democracy when you've got military rule, right? 
china's supporting the junta and western countries are just sitting idly by... meanwhile, half the population is struggling to make ends meet 
and the humanitarian crisis is getting out of hand... this election is literally a joke

. I don't get why China is supporting this when they should be holding the junta accountable for human rights abuses 
. The people of Myanmar deserve so much better than this sham election 
. It's all about the military junta's interests. The fact that most candidates are seen as their allies is super suspicious. I mean, what even is the point of having an election if it's just going to be a formality? 
And have you seen the areas that are excluded from voting? It's like they're trying to keep people in the dark
