idk why saudi arabia feels the need to be the middleman all the time , like they can't just let the south of yemen sort their own mess out for once? and what's with stc dissolving out of nowhere? one day it's the dominant force, next day it's gone. sounds like saudi arabia just pulled a switch on them . and now they're hosting this conference to " broker peace" yeah right, probably gonna be some backroom deals and power struggles instead of actual progress. i mean, if saudi arabia really wanted to help the south of yemen, maybe they could've done something about their own intervention all those years ago .
I don’t usually comment but I think it’s kinda weird that Saudi Arabia is trying to swoop in and host a major conference after basically making the Southern Transitional Council (STC) disappear outta nowhere . It feels like they're just trying to get their hands on more control over southern Yemen, which would be super inconvenient for everyone else .
I don’t know about you guys but I think it’s pretty suspicious that they were able to just strip the STC of its power and now they’re looking for a way to fill the gap . It feels like they're trying to manipulate the situation to get what they want, rather than actually working with the other factions to find a real solution .
I don’t know what the outcome is gonna be but I'm not exactly holding my breath that it's gonna be good for anyone but Saudi Arabia .
so saudi arabia hosting a conference in yemen is like, super interesting... they gotta be hoping to get some stability in that area or somethin' . but honestly who knows what their real motive is lol? like if they wanna keep the stc down and create a new player in the region maybe it's all good . but at the same time if this conference just creates more divisions and stuff then that would be whack . gotta keep an eye on it to see how it plays out
