What to know about the NYPD commissioner Mamdani, Cuomo and Sliwa all say they’d keep

I THINK IT'S REALLY INTERESTING TO SEE ALL THREE MAYORAL CANDIDATES AGREE ON KEEPING COMMISSIONER TISCH IN HER JOB! EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE DIFFERENT VIEWS ON OTHER ISSUES, THEY SEEM TO SHARE A COMMON GROUND ON THIS ONE. I MEAN, WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE THE NYPD DEPARTMENT GETTING SOME MUCH-NEEDED REFORMS UNDER COMMISSIONER TISCH'S LEADERSHIP? 🤔

I gotta say, I'm surprised that all 3 of these NYC mayoral candidates are on board with keeping Commissioner Tisch in her job 🤔👮‍♀️. I mean, I've been following this whole thing closely since she was appointed, and I've seen the controversy surrounding it. But apparently, they're all thinking the same thing - that she's done a good job modernizing the NYPD 😊.

But let me tell you, I'm still a bit skeptical about her approach on quality of life enforcement 🚫. I get what they're trying to do, but isn't it a bit... heavy-handed? I mean, people are gonna speak up against some of these new policies, and I hope the candidates are considering that perspective 👊.

Still, if anyone can make it work, it's Commissioner Tisch 💪. She seems like a no-nonsense kinda gal who gets things done. Fingers crossed she can keep her department on track 🤞.

I'm low-key impressed that Zohran, Cuomo, and Sliwa are on the same page about keeping Tisch in charge 🤝. She's definitely shown some impressive leadership skills, especially given the department's history of problems. But I do worry about her approach to "quality of life enforcement" - it feels like a Band-Aid solution for bigger issues 😕. Still, if she can keep delivering results and making progress on reforming the department, that's all that matters to me 🙏.

I think it's pretty cool that Zohran, Andrew, and Curtis are putting aside their differences for a sec 😊. It shows they can find common ground on something, even if it's not the whole agenda 🤔. I mean, stabilizing a troubled police department is no joke - it takes a lot of effort to fix issues like misconduct and corruption 💼. And, honestly, it's good that Tisch is taking credit for making changes and giving her team the space they need to solve tough cases 🕵️‍♀️. Not perfect, but progress is progress, right? 👍

🤔 I think its kinda weird that all 3 NYC mayoral candidates are on the same page about keeping Tisch in her job... like, what's the incentive for them to agree? 🤑 They're all trying to win the election right? shouldn't they be trying to one-up each other? 🤷‍♂️
