Google Rolls Back Needless AI Generation Tools in Google Earth Google recently removed its Nano Banana image generation tool from Google Earth after concerns over misinformation and misuse.
The move comes just a day after the company announced the integration, which allowed users to create fake satellite images with ease.
A group called 404 Media demonstrated how easily these images could be manipulated by creating a blast crater in Los Angeles and protestors outside Google's Mountain View campus using Nano Banana.
