Russia and Ukraine Continue to Battle in Bakhmut, Donetsk Region

It feels like both sides are just keeping each other busy and neither one can make a clear win. 
And all these soldiers are getting hurt or worse... it's just so sad

. It's so easy to get caught up in the whole "winning" or "losing" narrative, but let's be real, they're the ones who are actually paying the price 
. The fact that both sides keep saying "we're making progress" while still exchanging heavy fire just doesn't add up to me 
. It's like, can we just acknowledge that there are losses on both sides and focus on finding a peaceful solution? 
I mean, I'm not saying either side is completely in the right or wrong, but can't we try to find some common ground here?

i feel so bad for the ppl caught in the middle, they dont deserve this.
and it's not just about winning or losing, its about showing the world that we care about each other. my heart is literally breaking watching all these videos of civilians trying to escape the fighting 
. I mean, can't we all just get along?

. Like, when's this gonna stop? And how many more lives have to get lost before we find a solution?
