The people in Cali just showed they're not afraid to take matters into their own hands when it comes to democracy , and I love how Governor Newsom used that phrase about rigging the midterms - so true ! Now, we'll see what happens next with all these states trying to redraw their maps . It's gonna be a wild ride, but one thing's for sure: California voters are keeping it real . That campaign for Proposition 50 was super intense , and I'm so glad the Yes side came out on top ! Onward to the next battle... bring it on

With this new map, those Dem reps might just gain some seats in 2026 and counterbalance all those Republican gains elsewhere . Not sure what's up with President Trump pushing his GOP states though... seems kinda desperate . Anyways, this is def gonna be a wild ride for the midterms !

I mean, they're basically getting to draw their own maps and that's not even close to fair. The whole thing with Proposition 50 is kinda shady if you ask me... like, what even is the "Election Rigging Response Act" supposed to be for again? And $100 million in contributions? That's just crazy talk!
I gotta say, this is some good news for Democrats! They're making moves to take control of their own destiny and counter those pesky Republicans who wanna limit their chances. The fact that they were able to get a new map approved in Cali without the independent commission getting involved shows they're not gonna back down from a fight .
