Chicago Police Uncover Suspects in Double Homicide of 'Hardworking' Father and Son

Two individuals wanted for questioning are now facing the scrutiny of Chicago police following the fatal shooting of a devoted father and his son outside their Little Village jewelry store last week. The victims, Faustino Alamo, 63, and his 25-year-old son Luis, were gunned down in a brazen attack that left their community shaken.

According to authorities, the perpetrators were described as male suspects wearing distinct clothing items: one was spotted wearing a black North Face jacket, brown baseball hat, glasses, black cargo pants, and gray sneakers. The other suspect donned a tan bucket hat, a Blackhawks jersey, tan pants, and black shoes. Police are now seeking information about these individuals in connection with the double homicide.

The shooting occurred on November 8th outside Faustino Alamo's jewelry store in the 3800 block of West 26th Street when a masked gunman walked into the shop, stole some jewels, and fled. Enraged by the crime, Faustino Alamo and his son chased after the suspect before becoming embroiled in a violent confrontation.

The situation escalated as both parties opened fire. However, police have revealed that Faustino Alamo returned one or two shots with his own firearm. The suspect then escaped into a waiting white Maserati SUV traveling south on Springfield Avenue.

A $10,000 reward has been put forth by Cook County Crime Stoppers in hopes of encouraging tips from the community, while the family of the victims is also seeking donations through a GoFundMe campaign to support their expenses.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Area 4 detectives at (312) 746-8252 or send anonymous tips via CPDTIP.com.

๐Ÿ™ u know its so sad when senseless violence hits close to home... like these two ppl from chicago who got killed outside a jewelry store ๐Ÿค• its just crazy that they were attacked for stealing some jewels ๐Ÿ’Ž meanwhile the suspect just gets away in a fancy car ๐Ÿš— and now theres people out there trying to collect the reward or donate to their family's gofundme ๐Ÿค‘ i wish we could all take a deep breath and think about what can we do to prevent this kinda thing from happening again... is it just self defense? should we be carrying our own guns? ๐Ÿ’” idk, im just thinking maybe we need to talk more about mental health and why people resort to violence in the first place ๐Ÿค anyway, i hope the community comes together to support the family and bring justice to these two victims ๐Ÿ‘Š

Ugh ๐Ÿค• this is so sad, can't believe it had to come to violence outside his own shop. It's like, what's the point of having a jewelry store if you're just gonna use it as a front for something more sinister? ๐Ÿ˜” And that the suspects are still on the loose...it's like they think they can just drive away and leave the community to pick up the pieces. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ The police need to do better, and the community needs to stay vigilant too. We can't let these thugs get away with this! ๐Ÿ’ช

Ugh, can't even walk down the street without feeling like there's gonna be some crazy stuff goin' down! Double homicide, a whole lotta emotional trauma for that community and now they're lookin' for these suspects who just happen to match the description of your average Joe on a Saturday afternoon. Like, I get it, they're tryin' to catch the bad guys but can't we just have a day without all this drama?

Man, this story's got me thinking... life's unpredictable, you know? One minute you're running your own shop, building a life with your family, and the next... boom! Someone comes out of nowhere and takes everything away. It's like the rug gets pulled from under our feet. But here's the thing: we can't let fear control us. We've gotta take action, just like Faustino Alamo did. He took a stand against injustice and fought back. That takes courage! And we can all learn from that. We might not have his bravery or circumstances, but we can still be brave in our own ways. We can fight for justice, support each other, and never give up on the people who matter most ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŒŸ

I was just watching this funny vid on YouTube of a guy trying to do a stand-up comedy set while wearing oversized novelty sunglasses... the whole thing just fell apart ๐Ÿ˜‚, but what really caught my attention was how his timing and confidence completely tanked in those ridiculous shades ๐Ÿคฃ. Anyways, back to the Chicago double homicide... it's crazy that those suspects are still out there. Do you guys think we'll ever see them brought to justice? I'm also kinda curious about those distinctive clothing items they're looking for... was it just a weird fashion trend or what ๐Ÿค”

OMG, can you believe what happened to that family in Little Village?! ๐Ÿคฏ They were just trying to run their business and live their lives, and then BAM! This senseless violence hits them. It's so sad ๐Ÿ˜”. I'm glad the police are working hard to catch these suspects and bring justice to Faustino Alamo and his son Luis ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

I love how they're still trying to get information about the suspects' clothing items - like, who knew a black North Face jacket could be a clue? ๐Ÿคฃ And can we talk about that white Maserati SUV that got away?! It's so frustrating when witnesses don't stick around to give their IDs. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tips will come in and help the police solve this case ๐Ÿ’ช.

Also, kudos to Cook County Crime Stoppers for putting up a $10k reward - it's gonna be a huge help! And I'm so inspired by Faustino Alamo's bravery when he went back and shot at the suspect ๐Ÿ™Œ. It just goes to show that even in the face of tragedy, we should never give up fighting for what's right ๐Ÿ’ซ.

This is just heartbreaking ๐Ÿค•... I mean, can you even imagine walking outside your store and getting caught up in a situation like that? The fact that the police are still looking for these suspects is a good sign, though - it's clear they're taking this seriously.

I'm also glad the community is coming together to support Faustino Alamo's family with the GoFundMe campaign. It's just so sad what happened to them... 63 and 25 years old, and taken from each other like that ๐Ÿ’”. I hope these guys get caught ASAP and brought to justice.

And yeah, those descriptions of the suspects are pretty specific - it's crazy they got a good look at 'em in black face ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Can't wait for the police to share any updates on this case...

can't believe what happened outside that jewelry store in Little Village ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿšจ. two innocent people, faustino and his son, just doing their thing, and then BAM! someone walks in and starts shooting ๐Ÿ’€. and now the police are looking for these guys with the crazy outfits ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘–... like what's up with the guy wearing a blackhawks jersey? anyway, hope they catch whoever did this and bring some justice to faustino and his family ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’”

man that's so sad ๐Ÿค• another family torn apart by senseless violence... the fact that they were just trying to protect their shop and community from some thief who breaks in and steals is just crazy. it's like they're more guilty of something for being victims, you know?

and now these two suspects are running around with their own lives on the line because of some wild crime spree. a $10k reward ain't gonna hurt nobody, but I wish people could come forward just to show some humanity and support those families who lost loved ones ๐Ÿ’”.

๐Ÿ˜• just heard about that double homicide in Chicago ๐Ÿคฏ can't believe the community's reaction to it... some people are actually praising Faustino Alamo for trying to fight back with his own gun ๐Ÿ’€ like, yeah no need to make it worse for yourself fam ๐Ÿ˜” and another thing, $10k reward from Cook County Crime Stoppers is kinda laughable ๐Ÿค‘ considering how much police brutality and inequality they've been dealing with in the city... just saying ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ˜ž Just can't believe what's happening in Chicago. It's always like that when senseless violence comes into play. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ A double homicide is just devastating, especially to a community that already has its fair share of problems. The father-son duo was really hardworking and didn't deserve to lose their lives like that. ๐Ÿ™

Anyway, the police are doing what they can with the suspects' description, so fingers crossed they catch these people soon. The $10k reward from Crime Stoppers is a good start, but I hope it encourages even more people to come forward with info. And yeah, the GoFundMe campaign for the family's expenses is really thoughtful of everyone. ๐Ÿ‘

Man, this double homicide in Chicago is super disturbing ๐Ÿคฏ! It's crazy that the community is still shaking from the attack outside that jewelry store. I feel for Faustino Alamo and his son Luis, they were just trying to make a living. The police are doing their best to catch the suspects, but it's clear this case requires some serious attention. Those descriptions of the suspects are pretty vague though... who would've thought a Blackhawks jersey would be a giveaway? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Either way, I hope the family gets the support they need - $10k is just not enough for them! GoFundMe is always a good idea.

๐Ÿ˜• This just breaks my heart... A devoted father and his son taken from us too soon. It's so senseless when it happens like this ๐Ÿคฏ. Can't even imagine how the community is reeling from this ๐Ÿ’”. And those suspects, still on the loose? It's gotta be frustrating for the police to not have any leads yet ๐Ÿšจ. The reward and GoFundMe campaign are a good start, but I hope they catch those guys soon ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ. We need more community involvement to help bring justice to Faustino Alamo and his son ๐Ÿ˜ก.

OMG, that's so sad ๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ˜ข. I mean, who does something like that to a family? It's just crazy thinking about the father and son chasing after the thief and then getting caught up in a violent situation... it's like, one thing leads to another, you know?

I'm also kinda worried about those suspects being on the loose ๐Ÿšจ. I hope they get caught soon! The police are doing their best, but with all the people out there, it can be tough to track down someone. $10,000 reward is a good start, though ๐Ÿ’ธ.

The family's GoFundMe campaign is really cool too ๐Ÿค. It's great that the community is coming together to support them during this difficult time. I hope they get the help they need and can focus on healing and moving forward โค๏ธ.
