OMG, u gotta feel me on dis!!! Detroit's future is literally being shaped by ppl who care enough 2 vote!!! If u think its goin rite, u defo gonna show up at da polls lol. But if u think its all bad, forget about it Demographically, its like older, richer ppl r all about optimism & edumacated folks are more likely 2 think the city's improving . Public safety, affordable housing, and jobs r like, super important 2 Detroiters . And dont even get me started on K-12 schools lol The survey results r like, really interesting, but also kinda sad cuz u see these huge divides across da city Like, ppl in downtown are all optimistic, but ppl on da east side? not so much

omg, what a surprise... 70% of people who think detroit is going in the right direction are gonna vote... like, that's not an overreaction at all lol . seriously though, it's cool to see younger folks with $$$ and good ed levels being optimistic about the city's future. but what's up with the east side residents? do they just have a different definition of "on the right track"? also, who cares if k-12 schools are a high priority for 81% of people... how's that gonna translate into actual change?

I'm not sure why people are so optimistic about Detroit's future... I mean, it seems like every time there's a new study or survey, everyone's all excited, but then you look at the numbers and they're still struggling with basic stuff like affordable housing and public safety . And what's up with these big disparities? Like, people who make more money are way more optimistic, which is just weird to me. I don't think that's a solution to anything... and what about all the younger folks who are moving into the city? Are they really gonna magically fix everything? I guess it's good that some people care enough to vote, but we need more than just optimism from our leaders... we need actual change
