European football: Mbappé and Bellingham sink Valencia for Real Madrid

Real Madrid Sinks Valencia with Impressive Display, Extends Lead in La Liga.

Real Madrid secured a convincing 4-0 victory over struggling Valencia at home, further solidifying their position at the top of La Liga. The dominant performance saw Kylian Mbappé score twice, Jude Bellingham and Alvaro Carreras also find the net, as Los Blancos claimed their 13th win from 14 matches in all competitions.

The victory extended Real's commanding lead in the league, putting them seven points clear of Villarreal and eight ahead of third-placed Barcelona. The result also marked a significant blow to Valencia's already struggling campaign.

Mbappé gave the home side a two-goal lead with goals in the 19th and 31st minutes, first converting a penalty that was awarded for a handball by César Tárrega and, 12 minutes later, firing home a volley from close range. Bellingham struck a sublime low shot from the edge of the box into the bottom corner to make it 3-0 in the 44th minute, while Carreras unleashed an unstoppable angled shot in the 82nd to wrap up the thrashing.

Mbappé has now scored 13 goals in 11 La Liga matches this season and 18 goals in all competitions. His teammate Federico Valverde praised Mbappé's exceptional form, saying: "He is spectacular. We have to enjoy him. May he continue scoring for Madrid, for himself, for his history. He still has a lot left to achieve and I have no doubt he will. He is one of the best in the world."

In other La Liga action, Villarreal took second place with a 4-0 demolition of Rayo Vallecano, while Atalanta suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Udinese. Juventus secured a 2-1 win over Cremonese, while Bayern Munich powered past Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the Bundesliga.

Genoa parted ways with Patrick Vieira by mutual agreement after a dismal start to their campaign, which saw them score only four goals in nine matches. Meanwhile, Napoli played out a goalless draw with Como, and Juventus handed Cremonese a surprise 2-1 defeat under new manager Luciano Spalletti.

I'm getting tired of these superstars scoring left and right 😒. Like what's the point of having all this talent if you can't even develop a young player? I mean, Kylian Mbappé is on fire, but what about his teammates? It's like they're not even a team, just a collection of individual geniuses 🤯.

And another thing, La Liga needs to get its act together. This Real Madrid dominance is getting old, and it's like they're not even playing for the fans anymore. Where's the excitement? The drama? The unpredictability? It's all just so... predictable 😴.

I'm starting to think that the problem with our football leagues isn't the players or the coaches, but the system itself. We need to find a way to nurture young talent and create more competitive balance. Otherwise, we'll just keep seeing the same old story play out: one team dominates, and everyone else is left in the dust 🏃‍♂️.

omg what a performance by kylian mbappé 🤩🔥 he's like a machine on the pitch! 13 goals in 11 la liga matches? insane 💥 and that federico valverde is so right, may he keep scoring for madrid and himself 😎 gotta keep enjoying this guy's talent while it lasts 🕰️

I gotta say, Real Madrid is on fire right now 💥! Kylian Mbappé is UNSTOPPABLE 🚀, scoring goals for fun! His teammate Jude Bellingham is looking sharp too ⚽️, and Alvaro Carreras' shot was pure magic ✨. Valencia just got thrashed, I feel bad for them 😞. But on a positive note, Villarreal's win takes them to second place, and Atalanta's loss is a good opportunity for them to bounce back 🌟. The season is getting more exciting by the day! 🎉

OMG 🤯 just watched Real Madrid crush Valencia at home, it's insane! Mbappé is on fire 🔥 13 goals in 11 La Liga matches this season?! That's crazy talk 💥 Jude Bellingham too, his shot was so sick 😎 I mean, I'm not surprised though, they've been playing some amazing football lately. And Federico Valverde's praise for Mbappé is well-deserved 🙌 he's literally one of the best players in the world right now! 💪 Can't wait to see what's next for Real Madrid, they're looking almost unbeatable 🔴⚽

idk why people still think Real Madrid is unbeatable lol 🤔 they've been getting lucky for like forever and their defense is so weak 🚫 its crazy how 4-0 against Valencia, like, what's next? a 5-0 thrashing of Barcelona maybe? 😂 then again, Kylian Mbappé does seem unstoppable right now 🔥 but can he keep it up? only time will tell, i guess

🙄 gotta say, Real Madrid is on fire this season! 4-0 vs Valencia, that's just ridiculous. Kylian Mbappé is unstoppable 🔥 he's got 13 goals in 11 La Liga matches already and it's only mid-season? The guy is a god among mortals 🤯. Los Blancos are looking strong, 7 points clear of Villarreal? That's like saying "we're gonna win everything we play". They gotta keep that momentum going or else they'll get caught by the others 💪

You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one. Real Madrid is taking things to the next level, and their dominance in La Liga is giving everyone else a run for their money 🏆

But seriously, they're in such a dominant position at the top of La Liga right now. 7 points clear of Villarreal? That's huge 💪. It's gonna be tough for any other team to catch up to them. And Jude Bellingham is looking good too 🤩! He scored that beautiful goal and Alvaro Carreras' shot was insane 😲. Valencia just got thrashed 😳. Poor guys didn't stand a chance against Real Madrid. Maybe they need to regroup and come back stronger?
