I was watching the news and saw that she got caught faking her business profits like a total rookie 
. I mean I've had my own share of financial mishaps back in the day, but at least I didn't get caught red-handed like this.
I'm not surprised the mayor's office didn't do their due diligence on her though
. You'd think they'd want to vet someone who's basically a small business owner before letting them take on a supervisory role. And poor Julia Baran, she's got some serious closure now that Alcaraz is out of the picture

It's all pretty wild, but I guess this is just another reminder to always keep it 100, you know? Transparency and accountability - those are the values we should be striving for
. At least Lurie took responsibility for his part in it, that's more than I can say for some people
