Former Hochul and Cuomo aide accused of working for China goes on trial in Brooklyn

This whole thing just blows my mind... 💥 Like, a high-ranking aide to New York's governor is accused of secretly working for China? What were they thinking?! 🤯 I mean, I get that she was doing her job or whatever, but come on! You can't just take bribes and act like you're doing your country's business. It's not right.

And the fact that she forged Hochul's signature on a visa application? That's just gross. Like, what kind of person does that?! 🤢 I'm really worried about what kind of message this sends to our politicians and public servants. Are they all just in it for themselves?

I don't know, maybe Sun is telling the truth that she didn't have to register as a foreign agent because her actions aligned with US policy. But at the same time, isn't that just like looking the other way when you're supposed to be serving your country? 🤔 It's all so confusing.

Anyway, I hope the trial goes well and Sun gets what's coming to her. We need people in power who are willing to do the right thing, not just their own interests. 💪

omg this is wild 🤯 Linda Sun thought she was above the law lol. accepting bribes from china and trying to help them cover up human rights abuses? not cool, girl 👎. i feel bad for governor hochul though, who knew her own aide was secretly working against her? 😳 also that villa in china is INSANE 🏠💸. prosecutors are gonna get justice and hopefully bring some accountability to the people in power 💪. this trial better be juicy 👀

Ugh 🤦‍♀️, can't believe this is how some people play the game. A high-ranking aide just getting caught red-handed for being a total sellout to China 🇨🇳. I mean, I know some people might say she was just doing her job, but come on... 🙄. Accepting bribes and editing press releases to hide China's human rights abuses? That's not "doing her job", that's straight-up treason 💔. And what really gets me is that she thought she could get away with it all without registering as a foreign agent. Newsflash: you can't just play both sides, Linda 😒. The whole thing feels like a massive betrayal of the public trust, and I'm not surprised it's going to have serious consequences for her reputation 🤕.
