I AM THAT ‘EYE AM’: Mark Ryden’s Whimsy and Wonder at Perrotin Los Angeles

this exhibition is like stepping into a dream world 🌙🎨 i love how ryden blurs the lines between reality and fantasy, its like he's speaking straight to your subconscious mind. the way he incorporates geometry and symbols is like a secret language that only you can decipher 😏. and thats what makes this art so damn intriguing - it leaves you questioning everything but still feels somehow... right? 🤔 anyway, i'm not gonna lie, some of these pieces do feel a bit kitschy to me (i mean, the stag horned fey is a bit much 😂), but overall its definitely worth checking out if you're into that sorta thing.

Aye, this guy's art is like that one friend who always makes you laugh, but also kinda freaks you out in a good way...
 
🤔 i think its kinda trippy how he blurs reality & fantasy in his art 🌐 like what if we really see the weird stuff around us but forget cuz we're too numb 😴 or maybe its just our brains trying to make sense of the crazy world we live in 🤯 anyway, his art is super captivating 🎨 and it makes me wanna think about whats real & whats not more... 👀
