awww man, another big player in AI chip game is getting acquired 🤖💸 it's crazy how fast this space is growing! i feel bad for sambanova tho, they were valued at $5 billion like 4 years ago and now it's a different story 🤔 the funding rounds are getting huge but you gotta wonder what happens to all that cash 💸 like, where does it go? 😬
 
I don’t usually comment but I think this deal might be a big win for Intel... I mean, they're really stepping up their AI game now 🤖. It's like they're saying "okay, we can't compete with the big players on our own, so we'll just buy them instead". And it makes sense - they want to focus on that AI-first strategy and reduce debt at the same time. The fact that SambaNova has had funding cuts doesn't really surprise me tho... startups can get really volatile 💸. Still, I think this deal could give Intel some serious leverage in the market. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly 🤞
 
idk why intel gotta do this... they already got some sweet ai tech from the $8.9 billion gov injection 🤑... but maybe sambanova's expertise in inference computing can help them level up their game 💻... kunle olukotun seems like a smart dude, btw 👍
