Man, I'm loving this move by Chelsea! It's like they're finally catching up with the times
. I remember when I was growing up, watching black players break into the Premier League, it was like a dream come true. And now, to see a black manager leading one of the top clubs? It's a huge deal, you know?
But, at the same time, I'm thinking about all the other leagues in Europe that have had black managers for years and how they're still getting the recognition they deserve
. And what about all the underrepresented groups in football, like women and LGBTQ+ folks? We need to see more of them in leadership positions, too
.
I mean, Chelsea's new ownership is all about being different, which is cool and all, but we need to make sure that this change doesn't just stop at one club. We need a whole league-wide shift towards diversity and inclusion
.
And can we talk about how hard it must be for Rosenior to go through all these interviews and meetings without knowing what's going on behind the scenes? I mean, there are still biases out there, unfortunately
. But hey, at least now we're talking about it and trying to make a change
.
Anyway, let's hope that this is just the start of something amazing
. A more inclusive football world would be awesome!
