Just read that one of the crew members got a medical issue on the ISS... feels bad for them . Can't imagine what they're going through up there. NASA always prioritizes safety, so I guess it's good that they took precautions . A spacewalk gets cancelled, but I'm sure the guys back at SpaceX are already planning the de-orbiting of the ISS in 2030/31... gotta wonder what kind of prep work went into that mission .
I'm kinda bummed about this mission cut short . I was really looking forward to seeing the spacewalk live . But at the same time, safety should always come first, you know? Can't have anyone risking their health for a solar panel rollout .
It's not like they're gonna leave those other astronauts hanging on board though . They'll be de-orbited and safely back home in no time . And hey, maybe this is an opportunity to prep the station for its final mission in 2030?
I'm curious about how this affects their training schedules tho . Are they gonna have to rush through some of that spacewalk prep?
OMG this is crazy!! I'm so bummed that they had to cut short their mission tho... My friend's cousin works at NASA and she said it was super sudden, like one day they knew something was off with Fincke and then they had to make the call. The spacewalk thing was supposed to be a big deal too! Did you know that Yui is returning for her second stint? My friend's sister loves Kimiya Yui on Instagram lol
Ugh just heard about this... one of the crew members on the ISS got a medical issue and NASA had to cut their mission short can't believe they had to cancel that spacewalk too, all because of some health concern it's like, what if something really serious happens? anyway, at least NASA is being cautious I guess... they gotta prioritize the safety of those astronauts and now they have to return to Earth sooner than expected
omg u no how frustrating this is!!! they just cut short everythin cuz of 1 crew member gettin a lil sick but like, its not even a big deal rite?! they just canceled the spacewalk & now its gonna be all delayed. i mean, i get it, safety first and all that but u gotta wonder wut kinda pressure they're under here. jared isaacman is tryin to spin this into somethin positive though 'swift response' sounds good in interviews but idk what the crew member's deal is
