I'm not sure if this is a good idea for North Korea to keep escalating the situation

. I mean, we all know they're trying to assert their power, but do they really think it's going to work in the long run?

It just seems like a recipe for more conflict and instability in the region.
I'm also worried about China getting involved here

. They're already under pressure from the US, and if North Korea keeps pushing their luck, they might end up being caught in the middle. That could get ugly fast

.
And what's with this sudden 250% increase in missile production?

Is Kim Jong-un trying to prove a point or something? It just seems like a lot of bravado to me

.
I'm all for South Korea and Japan standing up for their interests, but can't we just try to find a peaceful solution here?

Maybe if the international community puts some pressure on North Korea to tone it down, we might actually see some progress
