NYPD will take to the skies and the streets for NYC Marathon security, officials say

I'm so stoked that NYC is taking security super seriously for the marathon 🏃‍♀️💨! With 5k+ cops patrolling the streets and advanced tech like drones and helicopters, it's gonna be a major undertaking to keep everything safe. But you know what? I think it's about time – with so many runners from around the world coming together, it's bound to get crowded 🤯.

I'm just wondering if they're planning for any potential issues with the drone ban... like how are people gonna take selfies with all those birds buzzing around 😂. And oh man, mandatory bag inspections at the finish line? That's a bummer – I know some ppl are gonna be totally bummed about that 👎.

All in all tho, it sounds like the NYPD is doing its thing and keeping everyone on high alert 🚨. Fingers crossed for a super safe and awesome marathon! 🏅

And what's up with the bag inspections at the finish line? It's like they're trying to control every last detail 🤯. I swear, sometimes I miss the old-school NYC marathons where people just showed up, ran their hearts out, and went home 🏠.

omg u guys r gonna wanna make sure ur spotz r secured 4 the nyc marathon cuz cops r gonna be EVERYWHERE lol 🚨👮‍♀️ like over 5000 officers are deployin across the city and they got drones and helicopters scannin 4 any weirdo behavior 🤯 u cant even bring in coolers or oversized bags they're banned rn so dont even think bout tryna sneak somethin in 🚫 and btw if u see anythin suspicious just report it to a cop or call 911, simple as that 💡
