'Our minerals could be used to annex us': why Canada doesn't want US mining

omg can you believe the pentagon is trying to steal canadian resources like a giant kid 🤣 anyway, it's kinda funny how they're trying to spin this as a national security thing but really it's just about getting their hands on more lithium-ion batteries for their military hardware lol meanwhile canada's all like "hold up, we're not gonna let you exploit our environment for your own gain" 🙅‍♂️ and honestly, i think the 95% no vote is a major kudos to the communities surrounding that mine – they're totally owning this and showing the world what it means to stand up for what's right 💪

omg 🤯 this is crazy! i dont blame canada at all for resistin the us govt movin in like thats just not right 😡 they have every rite to protect their environment & communities 4 themselves. its all about who gets 2 decide what's best 4 them - canada or the pentagon 💪 let's keep hopin that local ppl can find sustainable solutions 4 their resources instead of fightin each other 🌟

omg this is so sus why does the pentagon think it can just come in here and exploit canada's resources? like, we get it they need critical minerals but do they really have to use the military to get them? 🤯 also i'm low-key impressed by the local residents who are standing up for their community against this huge corporation. 95% said no way to the mine in that referendum lol what more proof do they need? 💁‍♀️
