Rainfall Buries a Mega-Airport in Mexico

idk about this living engineering thing... sounds like just an excuse for not having a real plan 🤔. i mean, what if it doesn't work? we need concrete solutions not just "evolving strategies" 😒. and what's with the airport project stuff? is that really the best way to deal with a lake problem? 🏞️. imo, they should just get on with the job and stop playing around with philosophies 💪. and yeah, everything can be reimagined, but that doesn't mean it has to be good 💔.

I mean, I'm loving this soft infrastructure approach by José Echeverría 🌳💡 It makes so much sense! We've been trying to fix problems with rigid plans for ages and it's all just ended in disaster. I love that he's thinking outside the box (or airport project) 🤯. The idea of using precast concrete from the abandoned airport is genius - who needs fancy new materials when you can repurpose old ones? 😎 And I'm totally with him on seeing this crisis as an opportunity for innovation 🌈. We need more people thinking like that! I just hope we don't mess it up again 🤦‍♂️

Umm I dont no about this living engineering thingy... 🤔 it just sounds like a fancy way of saying we gonna try something new without really thinking thru the consequences. And whats with all these "structures from abandoned airport project" lol its just recycling old stuff. cant they just use sustainable materials and design for once?
