Scrapping green subsidies is short-termist sabotage – and as usual the consumer will pay | Camilla Born

I'm seriously worried about this move by Labour 🤯. We're already struggling with high bills, and now they want to take away heat pumps? It's like they think we can just stick our heads in the sand and pretend everything is fine. The truth is, electrification is the way forward - it's cheaper, more efficient, and helps us meet our climate targets 🌎.

I get that the government wants to make a quick fix for the cost of living crisis, but sabotaging consumer relief isn't going to solve anything. We need long-term solutions, not just sticking plasters that only patch things up until the next election ⏰.

It's time for politicians to put people first and think about the bigger picture. The current system is broken, and we can't keep relying on outdated industries. We need a fundamental shift towards sustainability and consumer-friendly policies 🔄. Anything less would be a huge mistake 💔

omg, can't believe they wanna sabotage consumer relief like this 🤯! it's so not cool for gov to prioritize profits over ppl's bills. heat pumps are the way forward, duh! 🌞 we need more support for those techs, not less! and electric vehicles? forget about it, let's make 'em cheaper to own, stat! 💰 this gov is all about short-term thinking, leaving households vulnerable to rising costs again 🤦‍♀️. gotta get the ball rolling on renewable energy now or we'll be stuck in a perpetual energy crisis 🔥
