this film sounds like its gonna be so emotional i mean, who doesn't relate to a story about finding love and connection after being all alone for so long? and the fact that the director met the real-life Jojo through Facebook is just crazy lol what's with the title tho, "The Life and Times of Ion G" sounds like some ancient history book i'm also intrigued by how it explores emotions and politics - it's like, we can't even begin to understand our own feelings without societal influence right? anyway, gotta see this film when it comes out in 2026

I'm so stoked for Romanian filmmaker Andreea Cristina Borțun's new movie "The Life and Times of Ion G" . I mean, who wouldn't want to watch a film about love, connection, and vulnerability? The way the story is told from Ion G's perspective, it's like you're right there with him, feeling all his emotions and struggles. And I love how Borțun draws inspiration from Erich Fromm, exploring how our social and political systems shape our understanding of love. It's so relevant to our lives, you know? It's like she's saying we need to take control of our own emotions and relationships, rather than just going with the flow. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this movie in 2026
