'They lied to our face': Democrats decry Trump's military raid on Venezuela

man I'm telling you its like when Bush Jr did that invasion of Iraq back in 2003 🤯 remember how everyone thought it was gonna be a quick win but nope it turned into a decade long nightmare? same thing with Trump now, he's just following in Bush's footsteps without even doing his homework 😒 and what really gets me is the lack of transparency, I mean come on Congress should know about this before it goes down 🤔

and can we talk about how out of touch Trump is with the average American? "apocalyptic consequences" Schumer says... yeah I'd say that too, but also for the US economy and its reputation in the world 💸 this is just a huge mess waiting to happen, and who's gonna clean it up? 🤷‍♂️

man... trump is at it again 🤦‍♂️. can't believe he just went all out on venezuela without even checking with congress first... like, what's next? a military intervention in canada or something 😂. this whole thing smells like an imperial adventure and i'm low-key worried about what this means for the us constitution 🤔. dems are right to be outraged and i gotta agree with murphy - they literally lied to congress... trump needs to get his act together or at least have a decent explanation for why he's making these kinds of moves 💪. and btw, who else thought that was a good idea? 🤷‍♂️

😬 This is a super shady move by Trump 🤥. I mean, can you imagine if the Democrats did something like this without telling Congress? There'd be hellfire and brimstone coming for them 🔥. And now they're justifying it as a counter-narcotics op? Give me a break 😂. It's clear they're trying to pull off some kind of regime change, but who gets to decide that? Not the president, apparently 🙄. I think Schumer has a point about the apocalyptic consequences, though. We don't want our military getting tangled up in another mess like we did in Iraq or Afghanistan 🤯. What's next, folks? An invasion of Cuba or something? 🌴

🤔 I'm not buying it, you know? The whole thing feels like a PR stunt to me. I mean, come on, a military intervention in Venezuela without so much as a whisper to Congress? That's just shady. And what's with the sudden change of heart from Secretary Rubio? It sounds like a classic case of "we need to go to war... no, wait, let's pretend we didn't say that"... 🤷‍♂️

And have you seen the timeline on this thing? A few months ago they're saying it's all about counter-narcotics, and now it's an imperial adventure? Give me a break. I'm not saying Trump is definitely behind some nefarious plot, but something doesn't add up here... 🤯

trump's getting all up in venezuela's grill again lolol what a disaster waiting to happen. he thinks congress doesn't matter, newsflash dude you can't just do whatever u want 🤣 meanwhile our troops are on the ground and Maduro is shaking like a leaf 😅 this is gonna be a long hot summer 🌅
