Trump’s handling of the economy is at its lowest point in AP-NORC polling

the economy is a tricky beast 🤔, seems like trump is having a hard time convincing ppl on his handling of it, 31% approval rating is pretty low, considering he's been in office for a while now. crime and immigration policies are areas where people seem to be losing faith in him, and that's not good news for republicans who are already worried about the midterms. i think this could have long-term implications for trump's re-election chances, especially if the republican party starts to question his economic policies more seriously 👀
 
🤔 I'm not surprised this is happening, tbh. Trump's been saying a lot of stuff about economy that just doesn't add up. Like, how can you claim to be all about tax cuts when your own tax returns are still being secret? 🤑 It's like, come on, transparency is key in politics! And don't even get me started on his border security policies... I mean, if we're gonna talk about keeping America safe, shouldn't that start with making sure everyone's following the rules already? 🚫

And yeah, the numbers are pretty concerning. 31% approval rating? That's crazy low for a president who was supposed to be all about creating jobs and growth. I guess when you're not living in a bubble, you can see the problems more clearly. I'm like totally stoked about Trump's economy approval taking a nosedive 🤦‍♂️, but at the same time I think it's kinda expected? Like, he's had some major screw-ups on the whole immigration thing and stuff, so I don't really know what to expect from him anymore. But seriously though, 31% is a pretty low number, even for Trump 🤯. And yeah, it's not just about the economy either - crime rates are going up and border security isn't as popular as people thought it'd be. I think it's time for some new ideas to come in and shake things up? But then again, Trump's got a way of making everything work for him... or so he claims 😂. I'm also worried about trump's grip on his party. If only 69% of republicans approve of how he handles the economy now, that's like, a big drop from where it was just a few months ago 🤔. It means his party is going to have to start asking some tough questions if they want to keep him in office. And honestly, I think that's good for democracy 🗳️. We need more accountability and less partisan politics.
