just when we thought it was safe to ride in an Uber those two guys got shot near Morris Ave can't believe the NYPD ain't found no shooters yet meanwhile, Queens is all shook up over hit-and-run 102nd St and 37th Ave are like a war zone right now $10k reward for anyone with info is a good start though lets keep it moving and get these shooters caught ASAP
ugh, like I'm still trying to process this news ... seems so early in the year already for such tragic incidents to happen ... how can we even begin to think about a new year when lives are being lost like this? ... I keep thinking about Issa Mbolo-Isac and those other two victims, what was going through their minds just before they died? ... it's just so heartbreaking... ... gotta hope the police find the people responsible for these senseless murders and traffic crashes, justice should be served ...
this new year's start already feeling super tough for nyc... can't believe we're dealing with murders & fatal traffic crashes so early on hope our city comes together to support the victims' fams & help catch whoever did these terrible things anyone know if there's a way to help find info about the white SUV driver in queens?
Another awful start to the year... Just had to scroll through this one, feeling so drained already. Two innocent lives lost in separate incidents in NYC. An Uber driver, a great guy from all accounts, shot by two guys who tried to rob him. That's just senseless violence . And then there's this hit-and-run accident in Queens... two people killed on the streets, another person critically injured . It's like we're seeing more and more of these kinds of tragedies. I mean, I know it's January 2026, but it feels like we've been here before .
Ugh, can you believe this? Two innocent lives lost already in 2026?! I mean, I know it's still early days, but come on! You'd think the NYPD would have better things to do than deal with all this senseless violence . And what really gets my goat is that this Uber driver was just trying to make a living and provide for his community, only to be gunned down like he wasn't even worth living anymore . And those pedestrian victims... poor guys just minding their own business, and BAM! You get hit by some reckless driver who's too busy texting or whatever . It's just so frustrating .
This new year's start off with two super tragic incidents in NYC. Like, can't even process how senseless both deaths are. First, this guy gets shot by two random dudes who try to rob him while he's driving. I mean, what's the point of committing a crime that's just gonna end your life? And then there's this other guy in Corona, Queens, who's hit and run... poor dude dies instantly, and his friend is left fighting for life. The fact that someone would just leave the scene like that is just insane. I think our city needs to come together to support these families and make sure whoever did this pays for their actions $10k reward from taxi federation seems like a good start though
