Fort Bend County authorities have identified a vehicle of interest in connection to the fatal road rage shooting that left army veteran Roy Ferrer dead. The incident occurred on June 21 at approximately 11:51 a.m. in the 10500 block of State Highway 6 South, where Ferrer's white Toyota Camry veered off the roadway and crashed into a ditch. Upon investigation, deputies discovered Ferrer, 43, with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to law enforcement, surveillance footage provided the crucial evidence needed to identify a gray Nissan Sentra with dark-tinted windows as a vehicle of interest in connection to the case. Sheriff Eric Fagan emphasized that this case is a top priority for his agency, and investigators are working diligently to piece together every detail.
"We are asking the public to assist us by sharing any information that may help identify the vehicle or individuals involved," Fagan said. "Your cooperation could make a critical difference." The investigation into Ferrer's death remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
Deputies have set up a non-emergency line for individuals to report any information related to the homicide or vehicle of interest: 281-341-4665, option 1.

. It's just so senseless and unnecessary - can't people just drive like normal? The fact that this is a top priority for the sheriff's office should be no surprise, though - lives are lost way too often due to people's bad driving habits. I'm also kinda glad they're encouraging people to come forward with info - sharing what we know could really help crack this case! And good on them setting up an anonymous tip line too - sometimes it takes a brave person to speak up and share something that might be hard for them to talk about

. I mean, can you imagine being in that situation where someone is driving recklessly and ends up killing someone? It's like, what even is the point of having laws on the road if people are just gonna ignore them and put others' lives at risk?

It's like, what even is the point of having laws on the road if people are just gonna ignore them and put others' lives at risk? I hope they catch whoever did this, but like, can we also talk about how crazy surveillance footage is? Like, who knew it could help identify a vehicle and lead to an investigation? It's wild.
