I'm low-key stoked about this move, tbh. Philip Rivers is like the OG QB, you know? He's been through so much in his career, and yet he still wants to give it another shot. And honestly, I think it's awesome that the Colts are giving him a chance to do so. He's not gonna be 45 next season

, and even though he's got some mileage on those legs, I still think he's got some juice left in 'em.
The thing is, Rivers' experience can't be overstated. He's been in the league for a minute, and he knows what it takes to win. The Colts are basically saying that they trust him enough to bring him back into the fold, even though there's some risk involved (obviously). And you know what? I think it's gonna pay off.
The fact that he's being added to the practice squad instead of the active roster is just smart, in my opinion. It shows that the team wants to ease him back in and make sure he's not gonna get hurt too badly. But once he's good to go, watch out

! The man can still sling it like nobody's business.
